This in-depth workshop introduces the full process of screen printing on fabric, guided by Holly through clear step-by-step instruction to create high-quality prints for both interiors and fashion. You will be immersed in Orto Studio's archive of print samples, showcasing the diverse technical processes, colour applications, and printing methods possible on textiles.
What you will learn:
•Colour & Inks: Pigment and binder mixing, colour matching, and developing a colour palette.
•Design Focus: Learn how to create effective print designs specifically tailored for fashion or interior applications.
•Material Insight: Gain crucial knowledge on selecting the most suitable fabric compositions for your projects.
•Printing Techniques: Understand the practical steps of screen printing onto textiles, including necessary finishing and fixing processes.
You will leave the workshop equipped with a complete, start-to-finish understanding of fabric screen printing, along with fabric samples featuring your own unique design.

*Participants are welcome to bring along their own natural fabric such as cotton to do experiments during the workshop.

Booking and Payment:
Full payment is required in advance to secure your booking. Your reservation will be confirmed once payment has been received.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Cancellations made less than 7 business days before the workshop will not be eligible for a refund. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days in advance. Rescheduling is permitted only once.
Workshop Content:
The workshop includes all necessary materials and tools. Any specific requirements or requests should be communicated in advance.
Conduct:
Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally. The facilitator reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts the workshop or does not adhere to the guidelines.

Health and Safety:
Participants should inform us of any allergies or health concerns prior to the workshop. Appropriate safety measures will be in place, but participants are responsible for their own well-being.
Cancellation by Us:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the workshop, a full refund will be issued or an alternative date will be offered.
Media and Photography:
We typically take photos during the workshop for advertising and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in advance. Otherwise, we will assume consent to use the images, which will be handled respectfully and only in a positive context. We can also share the photos with you via e-mail.
